Length of stay
Short stays and extended occupancy on equal terms
Short stays operate as premium apartment accommodation. For occupancy of one month or more, the commercial comparison is with the assured shorthold tenancy — which ordinarily requires a twelve-month term, employer references, a United Kingdom guarantor and a deposit of six to eight weeks, followed by furnishing the property and establishing utility accounts.
Prime Host requires none of these. Occupancy is granted under a single agreement at one inclusive rate, for as long as it is needed, and concludes on the agreed date without further obligation.

Households between properties, or in occupation while their own home is refurbished. Visitors for whom a kitchen and separate living space are a requirement rather than a preference.
Corporate bookers and trade partners are supported by a named contact, consolidated invoicing and standard payment terms.

Reservations
+ What is the minimum and maximum length of stay?
Stays are accepted from one night to twelve months. Rates improve with length of stay, and extended occupancy is priced on a monthly basis.
+ Are references, a guarantor or a deposit required?
No referencing, employer confirmation or United Kingdom guarantor is required, and no tenancy deposit is taken. Identity verification of the lead guest is completed before access credentials are issued. A modest refundable damage deposit or card authorisation applies to certain stays and is disclosed prior to booking; provisions are set out in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
+ What are the cancellation terms?
Reservations made directly with Prime Host may be cancelled without charge until 48 hours before check-in, and dates may be amended without charge within the same period subject to availability. Stays of 28 nights or more require 7 days’ notice by email. Reservations made through Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo are governed by that platform’s policy.
+ What is the nature of the agreement?
Occupancy is granted by licence for the reserved dates. No assured tenancy arises and no security of tenure is conferred, which is what permits the flexibility described above. The position is set out in full in our Terms and Conditions.
The apartments
+ How are the apartments equipped?
Fully furnished throughout, with French bed linen and hotel-weight towels provided for each guest, and a kitchen provisioned with cookware, knives, crockery, glassware, cutlery and a coffee machine. Bathroom consumables, iron, hairdryer and vacuum are supplied as standard. High-speed broadband and a smart television with streaming services are active on arrival.
+ Are utilities and council tax included?
Yes. Electricity, gas, water, council tax and broadband are contained within the quoted rate. No supply account is established in a guest’s name, and no closing balance falls due after departure.
+ Is the accommodation suitable for working?
Every apartment provides high-speed connectivity and a dedicated work position with appropriate seating, rather than incidental use of dining furniture.
+ How does arrival work?
Self check-in, without reference to a reception desk or fixed arrival window. Access credentials are issued shortly before arrival once payment has cleared and identity verification is complete. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00; alternative timings can frequently be arranged in advance.
+ How frequently is the apartment serviced?
Professional housekeeping with full linen and towel change, at a frequency determined by the apartment and length of stay and confirmed in writing before arrival. Extended stays are serviced on a recurring schedule.
Payment and support
+ Can a company reserve and settle the account?
Yes. We invoice companies directly, support standard corporate payment terms, and can issue a single consolidated invoice where multiple guests are accommodated. Please advise at enquiry stage. Further detail is set out on our corporate stays page.
+ Are pets permitted?
Only where expressly stated for the apartment concerned, as the majority of our buildings prohibit them. Assistance dogs are accommodated; advance notice allows us to prepare the apartment appropriately.
+ Who is the point of contact during a stay?
A London-based team, staffed 24 hours a day, with the authority to instruct works. Reported faults are attended by our own contractors at the earliest available opportunity.
